I’m Jennifer Banks, a family nurse practitioner and the founder of Familiar Primary Care.
I built Familiar because primary care should feel like a relationship, not a transaction. You deserve time to explain what’s happening, clear information about your options, and care that considers your body, identity, history, and actual life.
My approach is evidence-based, weight-neutral, trauma-informed, neurodivergent-affirming, and queer-affirming. Most importantly, it begins with listening.

Familiar is starting small and growing intentionally, with longer appointments, a smaller patient panel, and care designed around real relationships.
