Familiar Primary Care is preparing to open in late 2026 or early 2027. Join the interest list to receive updates when scheduling becomes available. Joining the list doesn’t obligate you to become a patient.

Familiar Primary Care is a virtual-first practice. Most appointments will take place through secure video visits, with limited in-person appointments available in Spokane when an examination, vital signs or an injection is needed.

In-person appointments will be available in North Spokane by appointment only. The exact location and arrival instructions will be provided when you schedule. Familiar Primary Care is not a walk-in clinic.

You do not need to belong to any particular community to become a patient. You simply need to be comfortable receiving care in a practice committed to dignity, inclusion and shared decision-making.

Familiar Primary Care plans to accept several commercial insurance plans. Specific plans will be listed here once contracting is complete and effective dates are confirmed.
Coverage varies between plans offered by the same insurance company. Please confirm that Familiar Primary Care and Jennifer Banks, ARNP, are in network with your specific plan before your first appointment.

Weight-neutral care focuses on your health, symptoms, goals, behaviors and overall wellbeing without treating body size as a moral failing or assuming weight loss is the solution to every concern.
You may decline routine weighing when it is not medically necessary. If your weight is needed for medication dosing or another clinical reason, we will discuss why and make the process as comfortable as possible.
